God's About to Interrupt the Natural Flow on Your Behalf

Today was youth day and Jekalyn Carr preached the message.

Dentrell Foster gave a message for the teens and parents, the youth choir sang, poems were recited to give honor to Black History Month, and the dance team danced to several songs.

Jekalyn Carr had a short word for the youth:

There are things in store for the young people. Walk with God at an early age and look for an aspiration. Your future is in what you do now. Put the video games down and turn off the t.v.

She then went on to preach:

God's About to Interrupt the Natural Flow on Your Behalf

 2 Kings 20:1 - 11
1 In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, “This is what the LORD says: Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover.”
2 Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD, 3 “Remember, LORD, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
4 Before Isaiah had left the middle court, the word of the LORD came to him: 5 “Go back and tell Hezekiah, the ruler of my people, ‘This is what the LORD, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the LORD. 6 I will add fifteen years to your life. And I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for my sake and for the sake of my servant David.’”
7 Then Isaiah said, “Prepare a poultice of figs.” They did so and applied it to the boil, and he recovered.
8 Hezekiah had asked Isaiah, “What will be the sign that the LORD will heal me and that I will go up to the temple of the LORD on the third day from now?”
9 Isaiah answered, “This is the LORD’s sign to you that the LORD will do what he has promised: Shall the shadow go forward ten steps, or shall it go back ten steps?”
10 “It is a simple matter for the shadow to go forward ten steps,” said Hezekiah. “Rather, have it go back ten steps.”
11 Then the prophet Isaiah called on the LORD, and the LORD made the shadow go back the ten steps it had gone down on the stairway of Ahaz.

God's word overrides everyone's word. Hezekiah was in need of a supernatural miracle.

3 “Remember, LORD, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

Hezekiah prayed to God. Prayer can reach the heavens when nothing else helps.  God heard Hezekiah and said that he will heal him. Thank God for grace and mercy. Mercy will bless you even when you don't deserve it. Hezekiah asked for a sign that God has healed him. The shadow changed because the sun changed position. God interrupted teh natural flow and also moved back time:

Daniel 6:16 -24

16Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.
17And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.
18Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him.
19Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions.
20And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?
21Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.
22My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.
23Then was the king exceedingly glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.
24And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den
Daniel was supposed to have died but God interrupted the natural flow.

Deuteronomy 8:4 (NIV)

4 Your clothes did not wear out and your feet did not swell during these forty years.

The children of Israel were in the wilderness for 40 years but their clothes were never worn.

Some of the things you went through had nothing to do with you but for others benefit. You are not dying this season. God will reverse some things. Tell the devil to back off and those things you are waiting on God for are on its way. Everything the enemy is trying to use to destroy you has been reversed.
