iPraise

Psalm 18:1-3
1I will love thee, O LORD, my strength.
2The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
3I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

Praise is what you do. There are 5 different praisers:

1. Conditional praisers - They praise according to their condition.

2. Thankful praisers- They praise God anytime He does something for them.

3. Prophetic praisers - They praise God for what they believe is on the way. They believe God will work it
out even it if is their fault they are in the jam they are in. We can't complain. We have to praise God.

4.Just because praisers - They praise God just because He is worthy. If God doesn't do anything else He has
   done enough.

Let's look at Daniel's response when he was asked to worship an idol.

Daniel 3:15-18
15 Now if you are ready at the time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, and you fall down and worship the image which I have made, good! But if you do not worship, you shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. And who is the god who will deliver you from my hands?”
16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. 17 If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. 18 But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”

Whatever you do, don't lose your praise.

5. Crazy praisers - They praise God for anything even when they receive bad news.

God is your:

Rock

Psalm 18:2
2 The LORD is my rock....

God is your rock; unmovable, unshakable. He adds stability in your life. A set back is a set up. God will give you double for your trouble.

Psalm 91:1
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Matthew 16:1818 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

Fortress:

Psalm 18:2
...and my fortress...

A fortress is an exceptional place of security. You can't be touched and taken out by a demon. God will get the last laugh. God is hiding us from some things. You may be single because God is hiding you from heartache. You didn't get the job because God is hiding you from something.

1 Cor 2:9
9 But as it is written:

“ Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

You have desired to have fame. Be grateful that you are not because there are things that God needs to remove from you. God is still working on you and others. Thank God for being a work in progress. Don't look down upon others because you have fallen into things but you were not exposed.

There is a difference between holy and unholy, clean and unclean. Somebody has to make it. People are depending on you.

Buckler:

Psalm 18:2
...my buckler...

God has a seat belt called mercy. If if it weren't for the blood of Jesus we would be in a mess. We are in grace and if He wasn't our buckler we would be in trouble.

High tower:

Psalm 18:2
and my high tower.

He is elevating you seven now. You stand above and ahead of your enemies. He's worthy to be praised.

Matt 19:30
30 But many who are first will be last, and the last first.

Ephesians 3:20
20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

Acts 16:25-26
25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.

Paul and Silas praised God and while doing so they were freed from the jail. Don't lose your praise!

iWorship

John 4:23-24
23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

You want to be a true worshipper. People can fake it. God knows when you are being truthful. Connections are spirit to spirit and not flesh to flesh. We are spirit, posses a soul and we live in a body. God created us spirit and we are in an earth suit. Spirits on earth are here illegal. Jesus had to be in a body. This is also why when Jesus was casting out demons they asked to go into the swine.

Matt 8:28 - 32
28 When He had come to the other side, to the country of the Gergesenes,[c] there met Him two demon-possessed men, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no one could pass that way. 29 And suddenly they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?”
30 Now a good way off from them there was a herd of many swine feeding. 31 So the demons begged Him, saying, “If You cast us out, permit us to go away[d] into the herd of swine.”
32 And He said to them, “Go.” So when they had come out, they went into the herd of swine. And suddenly the whole herd of swine ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and perished in the water.

Psalm 24:1
1 The earth is the LORD’s, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein.

The Lord has caused us to dominate.

We can't come to God in a fleshly attitude. This is why some people sit down or talk while you are trying to praise God. You can't expect people to create an atmosphere in church that they can't create it for themselves at home.

You can't take your issues to God during worship. It's not just for practice. It is a way of life. True worshipers don't care if there is a praise team or music. It's just you and God. You can't worship Him in lies. God is too Holy for that. When you sin right before worship you can't do it because of the sin on your mind. You are bringing the service down with your issues.

Often times our circumstances dictate our worship. Reverence and honor is worship. Idols can be your God.  For example you get to work 5 minutes early but get to church whenever you want to.

Disconnections to worship:

1. Fleshly mindset -
We carry our burdens with no faith. Burden carrying is a choice. God says to cast our cares upon Him. (1
   Peter 5:7)

2. The Devil is after your worship -
He was the overseer of worship in heaven. He was able to persuade 1/3 of the angels to turn against God.
Music is demonic and attractive. It can change your mindset. You are not as strong as you think you are
when you feed on secular music.

  Keep this scripture in mind:

  1 Cor 6:12
12 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

It is not a sin to listen to it.

Are you a thermometer or a thermostat. The thermometer tells the temperature but the thermostat sets it. Does holiness enter when you enter a room?

For the single people: Watch the music you listen to. God made you to feel sexual feelings. Wait on God for your spouse. Stop praying that He will take the sexual feelings away. Ask God to help you control it. If you are dating/engaged it does not mean you are married. Shacking up is not of God.

1 Chron 16:29
29 Give to the LORD the glory due His name;
Bring an offering, and come before Him.
Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness!

Giving is a form of worship. Where your heart is there is your treasure (Matt 6:21).

Acts 10:1-4
1 There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment, 2 a devout man and one who feared God with all his household, who gave alms generously to the people, and prayed to God always. 3 About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God coming in and saying to him, “Cornelius!”
4 And when he observed him, he was afraid, and said, “What is it, lord?”
So he said to him, “Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God.

Cornelius' alms were a memorial to God's nostrils. You are giving Him your heart.

Psalm 96:7-9
7 Give to the LORD, O families of the peoples,
Give to the LORD glory and strength.
 8 Give to the LORD the glory due His name;
Bring an offering, and come into His courts.
9 Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness!
Tremble before Him, all the earth.

Psalm 99:9
Exalt the LORD our God,
         And worship at His holy hill;
For the LORD our God is holy.

Holy used to mean something in church. No one believes it anymore.

Psalm 45:11
11 So the King will greatly desire your beauty;
Because He is your Lord, worship Him.

It's beautiful when you leave your problems and worship Him.

Psalm 86:9
9 All nations whom You have made
Shall come and worship before You, O Lord,
         And shall glorify Your name.

We have to worship Him because He is our Maker.

Decide that you will not be a fleshly christian.

iWitness

Acts 1:8
8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”]

There's more to just going to church and shouting. If you have been witnessing don't give up especially if you have been witnessing to your family. The Holy Ghost is for you to be a witness. We have to start at home. In this verse Jerusalem = home. Samaria = outside of your community.

Matt 24:14
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

This is not for fame or popularity. We are in a war and this is not a game. Jesus is coming back and is coming for a church that is with out spot or wrinkle (Eph 5:27). Whatever issues you have iron them out. A witness is somebody who has evidence. We all have testimonies and used to be an ex-something. Remember that there were people who prayed for you. You are at church because someone witnessed to you. You may not have been to school, know Greek & Hebrew buy you are not doing the things you used to do.

Rev 12:11
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

You can get delivered by telling someone what God has done for you. If God did it in the past what makes you think he won't do it again? You will win this battle with praise and by your testimony,. You may not be everything you want to be but you are not what you used to be.

Psalm 105:1-2
1 Oh, give thanks to the LORD!
         Call upon His name;
Make known His deeds among the peoples!
 2 Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him;
Talk of all His wondrous works!

Start talking about how God cleaned you up. It's the blood that's covering you.

Psalm 68:11
 11 The Lord gave the word;
Great was the company of those who proclaimed it:

The Word comes from God. The company publishes it. He needs all of us to talk. Every time God blesses you tell someone. The Lord has a blessing with your name on it. God wants to take you to the next level financially. If God have you the house, car, etc, he will pay for it.

Luke 5:17-26

17 Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present to heal them.18 Then behold, men brought on a bed a man who was paralyzed, whom they sought to bring in and lay before Him. 19 And when they could not find how they might bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the housetop and let him down with his bed through the tiling into the midst before Jesus.
20 When He saw their faith, He said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.”
21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, “Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”
22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, He answered and said to them, “Why are you reasoning in your hearts? 23 Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise up and walk’? 24 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—He said to the man who was paralyzed, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”
25 Immediately he rose up before them, took up what he had been lying on, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. 26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified God and were filled with fear, saying, “We have seen strange things today!”

If you are going to be an effective witness you have to be concerned and caring. The paralyzed man had friends help him to get to his miracle. They saw that there many around Jesus and had to be calculating and creative. People have problems today. They came up with a crazy idea to get him to Jesus. How were they going to get on the roof? How are you going to get people to Jesus? There were steps on the side of the house those days. It took 4 people to get him to Jesus. All of us are important to get people to Jesus. The roof was made of sticks and clay. It won't be easy to witness but you have to dig deep to get to Jesus.

Why did Jesus ask the man to pick up his bed and walk? The very same thing that was holding the man, the man was not able to hold it. Jesus had to clean him in the inside first. God forgave him. The inside needs to be dealt with before the outside.

iGive

Mal 3:8
8 “ Will a man rob God?
      Yet you have robbed Me!
      But you say,

‘ In what way have we robbed You?’
      In tithes and offerings.

Tithe = the debt we owe
Offering = seed we sow

God wants the offering on top of the tithe. God is saying you are robbing when you are not doing both.

Luke 6:38
38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Giving demands that you receive and you have to put expectancy when you give. It will be given back. You have to put yourself in the position to receive. You need at least one person to like and believe in you. We are on earth to dominate.

Psalm 24:1
1 The earth is the LORD’s, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein.

Put yourself in a position to receive favor from someone. You have to be a liberal giver and not be stingy. You don't only have to give money, but your time, skill, ect. When you practice giving then you will be the person who gives. Do you want friends? Then show yourself friendly and you will reap friends.

Luke 6:38
38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

We are blessed to be a blessing. We are to be a channel where money flows through. Give and don't worry if someone pays you back.

2 Cor 9:6-7
6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

When you give God will fall in love with you. He loves a cheerful giver. God doesn't like it when we give grudgingly. There is a thin line between faith and foolishness. Foolishness is dressed up in faith's clothing. When you give make sure it is of God. Where your treasure is so is your heart (Matt 6:21).

2 Cor 9:10
10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness,

God gives you seed to sow and food to eat. We are getting seeds mixed up with our bread.

John 6:1-15
1 After these things Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias. 2 Then a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His signs which He performed on those who were diseased. 3 And Jesus went up on the mountain, and there He sat with His disciples.
4 Now the Passover, a feast of the Jews, was near. 5 Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?” 6 But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do.
7 Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.”
8 One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him, 9 “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?”
10 Then Jesus said, “Make the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. 11 And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. 12 So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.” 13 Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten. 14 Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, “This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

Jesus used the bread he had to feed the multitude. There was even bread left over to fill 12 baskets!

Acts 10:4
4 And when he observed him, he was afraid, and said, “What is it, lord?”
So he said to him, “Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God.

Your deeds/donations are a a memorial to God. When you bless the poor you are qualified by God to be remembered.  There is no greater feeling then helping the less fortunate.

Prov 28:27
20 A faithful man will abound with blessings,
But he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished.

John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Heb 6:10
10 For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

God will not forget every seed you have sown, good or bad. You reap what you sow.

Matt 10:42
42 And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.”

iTithe

If you want God to do His part, you have to do yours. There are three types of people concerning tithing: a)committed - they tithe no matter what, b)uncommitted - they know about tithing but don't do it or are inconsistent about tithing, c).uninformed - they simply don't know about tithing.

You should tithe because you love God.

Gen 28:20 -22
20 Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am going, and give me bread to eat and clothing to put on, 21 so that I come back to my father’s house in peace, then the LORD shall be my God. 22 And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God’s house, and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You.”

A tithe is a tenth. It is like dues for the kingdom. When you pay your dues God does what He is supposed to do in the kingdom. Jacob asked for protection, provision and God's presence. When you tithe God will make sure that you have all of these things.

You can't be an emotional tither and give because the service is high. When financial problems hit we have a tendency to want to stop giving to God. Giving only God an offering is like tipping with out paying for the meal.

If you don't make much God He doesn't require much. If you make much He requires more. 10% is nothing. Just like God told Adam to not touch the fruit and eat it we are to not tough the tithe.

10 Reasons to Tithe:

1. Gen 28:20-22

You want God's provision, protections and presence. When you don't tithe he is not obligated to do those things.

2. Gen 2:17
17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

It is the holy part . When you keep it and don't feel convicted then it means you don't see as holy. Stop juggling God's dime.

3. Prov 3:9
9 Honor the LORD with your possessions,
      And with the firstfruits of all your increase;

It brings honor to God.

4. Phil 4:19
19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

You can't cite that scripture with confidence when you don't tithe. If you are robbing God what do you need Him for? Why should He fix your problems? Your situation can change in an instant but you have to trust Him.

5. Matt 23:23
23 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.

Jesus said we ought to.

6. Malachi 3:8
8 “ Will a man rob God?
      Yet you have robbed Me!
      But you say,

‘ In what way have we robbed You?’
      In tithes and offerings.

You don't want to rob God. A thief is slick but a robber will take with no shame and won't try to hide what he or she is doing. The tithe is for where you are being fed. If you have a problem with your pastor at least give your tithe to a charity that is doing God's work.

Mal 3:10
10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,”
      Says the LORD of hosts,

“ If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.

When you tithe it opens God's supernatural window. When you take the tithe the windows close.

8. Mal 3:10
You believe in your storehouse (church). We can't play with God's money. When we help others they will be interested to come to church.

9. Mal 3:11
10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,”
      Says the LORD of hosts,

“ If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
      And pour out for you
such blessing
      That
there will not be room enough to receive it.

So God can guard your increase. The devil is trying to eat up your money. Tithes was their crop in the verse. There are many things that can eat up our money such as an unexpected expense. The recession angel will pass you over.

10. Mal 3:10

God says to put Him to the test. When you tithe God is obligated to His word and you don't have to wonder what will happen. If you lost your job God will give you a better one. Don't question if God is going to move if you are not tithing. Question yourself whether or not you have given what is God's.

iBelieve

Heb 11:6
6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Jesus was with out sin. He was both man and God on earth. You have to believe that Jesus was born of a virgin and was made flesh. You have to believe God sent his son. You can't believe other than what is in the bible. Fear is the opposite of faith. We don't have what we need because fear is dominating us.

Mark 11:22-24
22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Have faith in God and not man because man will let you down.

23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

Jesus used a radical analogy to prove that faith is powerful. He is not talking about an actual mountain. Death and life are in the power of the tongue (Prov 18:21). You have to believe when you speak it, it will be done. You have to believe God will back you up and do it. Some of us stop at speaking it but don't believe it. You can't pray in doubt or it will be in vain. You have to speak faith and use words to build yourself up. David encouraged himself in the Lord:

1  Sam 30:6
6 Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.

Remember that all things are possible for those who believe (Mark 9:23). You have to believe He can do exceedingly, abundantly above what you can think or ask (Eph 3:20). Think of the biggest thing you are believing God for. That's nothing to Him!

24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Just have faith!

Mark 9:21-24

21 So He asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?”
And he said, “From childhood. 22 And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”
23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

If you can believe. Admit that you don't have belief. What ever you speak have faith as small as a mustard seed. The size of your faith does matter (Matt 17:20).

Heb 11:1
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith is the substance and evidence. It is the title deed for what you are believing for. You have ownership of that thing in the spirit. Evidence is the title deed and proof. How can you prove something you don't have? You just know it. You can feel it. This is where Christians are called crazy. You can't see it but you know you got it. God will have you walking in this stage for a while. You are not here by accident. Everything invented has a purpose. When you abort you abort God's plan. Know if you have had an abortion God has forgiven you.

James 2:18-20

18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?

You have to show that you believe what you are saying. It's not enough to just believe. There needs to be works.

Deut 32:20
20 And He said: ‘I will hide My face from them,
I will see what their end will be,
For they are a perverse generation,
Children in whom is no faith.

God will not waste His time on someone who does not have faith. You are not supposed to settle for average. You have to believe the impossible, not the possible.

Rom 1:17
17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

You will live by what you believe. God is building your life through trials. You have to climb the mountain sometimes instead of speaking to it in order to birth humility. Practice is tough but if you don't you don't get to play or win.

iPray

1 Thes 5:16-18
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Some of us are lazy when it comes to prayer.

Luke 18:1
1 Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart,

John 8:55
55 Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, ‘I do not know Him,’ I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His word.

Prayer is our life line. It took just 1 woman to take prayer out of our schools. If God doesn't judge America then he owes Sodom and Gomorrah an apology.

 1 Thes 1:17

17 pray without ceasing

When you have fervor in the spirit you are ready to pray. When you are one with God you are able to discern more. You are a spirit that possesses a soul who lives in a body.

1 Thes 1:18
18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Thank God in everything. This also means in the bad times. Refer to this verse:

Romans 8:28
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Give God thanks in between blessings. It's unfair to only thank Him in the bad times.

Heb 7:25
25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

Jesus is at the right hand of the Father praying for us! He may still pray for us when we get to heaven. The devil was able to trick 1/3 of the angels.

Prayer is communication between God and man and not just you telling Him what you want. Your prayers may not be effective because you are doing all the talking. We are not disciplined enough to hear God. The reason why we error so much because we are not trained to hear God.

John 10:4
4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.

John 10:27
27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

A mother knows her baby's cry. You have to learn to hear God's voice and when you know His voice you won't run to every prophet to get a word.

Luke 6:12-13
12 Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. 13 And when it was day, He called His disciples to Himself; and from them He chose twelve whom He also named apostles:

Before Jesus chose His disciples he prayed. Before you make any decision you should also pray. You are in the rut you are in because you didn't pray beforehand. Your pastor should also sound like God. Example:

1 Sam 3:1-9
1 Now the boy Samuel ministered to the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was rare in those days; there was no widespread revelation. 2 And it came to pass at that time, while Eli was lying down in his place, and when his eyes had begun to grow so dim that he could not see, 3 and before the lamp of God went out in the tabernacle of the LORD where the ark of God was, and while Samuel was lying down, 4 that the LORD called Samuel. And he answered, “Here I am!” 5 So he ran to Eli and said, “Here I am, for you called me.”
And he said, “I did not call; lie down again.” And he went and lay down.
6 Then the LORD called yet again, “Samuel!”
So Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, “Here I am, for you called me.” He answered, “I did not call, my son; lie down again.” 7 (Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, nor was the word of the LORD yet revealed to him.)
8 And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. So he arose and went to Eli, and said, “Here I am, for you did call me.”
Then Eli perceived that the LORD had called the boy. 9 Therefore Eli said to Samuel, “Go, lie down; and it shall be, if He calls you, that you must say, ‘Speak, LORD, for Your servant hears.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place.

Samuel went to Eli because He is supposed to sound like God.

Luke 11:9
9 “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

 Ask = Praying your desire.
Seek = Put worship with prayer, finding God
Knock = Putting force behind it, geting violent in the spirit.

It won't come easy. You have to fight for it. You have to pray for hours, days. You have to start somewhere.

Matt  6:9-13
9 In this manner, therefore, pray:

      Our Father in heaven,
      Hallowed be Your name.
       10 Your kingdom come.
      Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
      As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen

1. v9
Give God reverence.

2. v10

Tell God to let His way to happen on earth.

3. v11

Ask God to supply your needs.

4.v12

Ask God to forgive your sins.

5. 13

Ask God to shield you from temptation. Thank God.

Prov 3:6
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

Heb 5:7
7 who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear,

1 Tim 2:1-3
1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,

We are to pray for everyone.

James 4:3
3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

Your prayers may not be answered because you are not asking with the right motive. You should want a blessing to glorify God and to not show it off. For example you may be praying for a million dollars. What are you going to do with it? God will give you money when He can trust you with it.

iForgive

Psalm 103:1-3
1 Bless the LORD, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities,
         Who heals all your diseases,

God forgives all of our sins.

Psalm 86:6
 6 Give ear, O LORD, to my prayer;
And attend to the voice of my supplications.

God is a forgiving God.

1 John 1:8-10
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

God is always ready to forgive.

Mark 11:22,25-26

22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.
25 “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”

We need to forgive instead of always going to God in prayer asking for something.

Matthew 6:9-15
9 In this manner, therefore, pray:

      Our Father in heaven,
      Hallowed be Your name.
       10 Your kingdom come.
      Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
      As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

When you are real you don't have time to play with unforgiveness. We are go love and forgive our enemies. There is always someone out there with a greater story.

Luke 23:34
34 Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”
And they divided His garments and cast lots.

Jesus asked God to forgive there ignorance. Sometimes people do foolish things out of ignorance but we still have to forgive them.

Experience will change the way you see a test!

iLove

1 John 4:7-12
7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.

Love is a strong affection. Pray and ask God to help you to love others like He does. What does love do?

1. Love will have you to focus.

2. Love brings peace

Love is very important. God's love is 100%.

Matt 5:44
44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,

We are to love our enemies. Not talking about them means growing up. Love doesn't make you look down on people. Love the father and mother of your child. Love the people who label you. When you love your enemies you will be able to sleep. If God loves us so much the least you can do is love your enemies. If they see the devil in you they will never listen to you. Which ever you grow will manifest the most; love or hate! When you are a leader you have to walk in love. You can't slip.

John 13:34-35
34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Church is not the building. It is the people. When you walk in love people will know you are full of God.

Psalm 145:20
20 The LORD preserves all who love Him,
But all the wicked He will destroy.

Proverbs 10:12
12 Hatred stirs up strife,
      But love covers all sins.

Galatians 5:6
6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.

Faith works by love. they work hand and hand

Here are more verses:

Romans 13:8-10

8 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. 9 For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,”[“You shall not covet,”and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Proverbs 17:17
17 A friend loves at all times,
And a brother is born for adversity.

Keep in mind that some people are friends and some are associates.

Sometimes you have to let stuff fall off of you for brand new leaves to come. Don't rush it, the new leaves will come.
