Full Recovery

This message was preached by Prophetess LaTrice Ryan.

1 Samuel 30:1-8,18-19

This message was preached by Prophetess LaTrice Ryan.

1 Samuel 30:1-8,18-19 NASB

1 Then it happened when David and his men came to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had made a raid on the Negev and on Ziklag, and had overthrown Ziklag and burned it with fire; 2 and they took captive the women and all who were in it, both small and great, without killing anyone, and carried them off and went their way. 3 When David and his men came to the city, behold, it was burned with fire, and their wives and their sons and their daughters had been taken captive. 4 Then David and the people who were with him lifted their voices and wept until there was no strength in them to weep. 5 Now David’s two wives had been taken captive, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess and Abigail the widow of Nabal the Carmelite. 6 Moreover David was greatly distressed because the people spoke of stoning him, for all the people were embittered, each one because of his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.
7 Then David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech, “Please bring me the ephod.” So Abiathar brought the ephod to David. 8 David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I pursue this band? Shall I overtake them?” And He said to him, “Pursue, for you will surely overtake them, and you will surely rescue all.”

18 So David recovered all that the Amalekites had taken, and rescued his two wives. 19 But nothing of theirs was missing, whether small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything that they had taken for themselves; David brought it all back.

In verse 1 we see disaster and in verse 4 we see depression. Have you ever cried dried tears? David also experienced death in verse 6. We meet David after he came after a great victory. In 1 Samuel 27 David has subdued Ziklag. While he was on the battle field for the Lord the enemy crept through the back door and caused havoc. Isn't it like that for us? We have have a glorious time on Sunday and a breakdown on Monday. We can pray for others but nothing happens for you. We do self examinations, we question  God. Whey does it look like the enemy is winning? Understand what God is doing in your life. He is setting you up. In order to recover you have to go through some things.

David was wining the battle outside but losing at home. He was a public success but was a private failure. You look good on the outside but going through. People will look at you and say you have it all together and you don't need anything. They don't know what it took to put a smile on your face.

You can be a public success but a private failure. You can fight the devil at church but look like you've been choked by the time you get home. David means beloved. God loves David deeply; a man after God's own heart. Chosen by God, was in the field tendering the sheep. God did not look at the outward appearance but looked at his heart (1 Sam 16:7). There are people that don't look like us but are used by God. Paul, David, and Moses were misfits as well as Jesus. God is using misfits. God will clean people up and put them in the battle field.

David is God's man, God's chosen, His beloved, called by God. He was God's man but why would God let David go through hell?

Hebrews 12:6

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

6 FOR THOSE WHOM THE LORD LOVES HE DISCIPLINES,
AND HE SCOURGES EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVES.”

When you are chosen the process causes pain but produces a positive outcome.

Romans 8:28

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

The more you go through the better you will come out. He is showing you to have integrity, love for real and to press. Put your hand to the plow and not look back (Luke 9:62). Learn to stand (Eph 6:13). God will put the rod on you.

David was learning about God. When you go through the hard times you learn about God. If David hadn't gone through he wouldn't be able to write:

Psalm 34:19

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the LORD delivers him out of them all.

and

Psalm 37:1

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

1 Do not fret because of evildoers,
Be not envious toward wrongdoers.

David praised God through the pain. He had an understanding of what it means to praise the Lord at all times(Psalm 34:1).

God is getting ready to give you a full recovery. David's back was against the wall in 1 Sam 30:6. His close people wanted to kill him. Be weary of people who pat you on your back. The people you thought would be there will fail you. You can't depend on people more you depend on God. You can't be dependent on what man can do for you. God will allow man to disappoint you. What you have is so powerful God won't allow the devil to contaminate it. Learn to let go of things, leave people alone and watch God bless you.

God put David in a position where the people would leave David alone, the ones who loved him before. David went to get an ephod. You have to have a relationship with God to worship Him. An ephod represents the presence of God. He put on authority.

John 4:24

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

24 God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

David asked if he should pursue his love ones.Yet God was the one who allowed it to happen.

1 John 2:19

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

19 They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be shown that they all are not of us.

Do we need to purse the thing God took from us? Sometimes you have to make sure that the one leaves is of God or the devil. Maybe you lost that thing because you weren't ready to obtain it. You can't be so ambitious that you miss God's anointing, His hand.

Are you willing to wait on Him? Have you ever moved outside of the will of God and asked God to fix it? The children of Israel didn't wait on God. God let them have it.

Proverbs 18:21

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.

We are made in God's image (Gen 1:26). Pull yourself together and tell your self that you are coming out and you are more than a  conqueror(Romans 8:37) Prophecy to yourself and encourage yourself!

Make Wanna Holla Pt. 3

Matthew 15:21-23

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

21 Jesus went away from there, and withdrew into the district of Tyre and Sidon. 22 And a Canaanite woman from that region came out and began to cry out, saying, “Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is cruelly demon-possessed.” 23 But He did not answer her a word. And His disciples came and implored Him, saying, “Send her away, because she keeps shouting at us.”

If you holler God will do something. You may be feeling trapped in your finances, you may not feel appreciated. Cry for help! Cry out to Jesus! If you are going to cry make sure it touches the heart of Jesus. Call Jesus instead of your friends and family. Who will cry for the next generation? Think generationally.

We should be controlled in Christ. What are you going to do when God stops talking? Start meditating on the Word. If you do that sin won’t come out. Even if God doesn’t do it you should know that He is still able. Have a commitment to evangelism. Your number goal is and will always be to reach out. We should also have a commitment to holy living, to the youth empowerment, to community involvement, to excellence, to humility and love.We should stay focused. We should have a commitment to keep coming back to church.

Matthew 15:24-28

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

24 But He answered and said, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” 25 But she came and began to bow down before Him, saying, “Lord, help me!” 26 And He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” 27 But she said, “Yes, Lord; but even the dogs feed on the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.” 28 Then Jesus said to her, “O woman, your faith is great; it shall be done for you as you wish.” And her daughter was healed at once.

She didn’t want Jesus she just wanted His stuff. He called her a dog. Can you handle the truth? Jesus said that she had great faith.

Make Me Wanna Holla Pt. 2

Psalm 34:1-6

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

     1 I will bless the LORD at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul will make its boast in the LORD;
The humble will hear it and rejoice.
3 O magnify the LORD with me,
And let us exalt His name together.

4 I sought the LORD, and He answered me,
And delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked to Him and were radiant,
And their faces will never be ashamed.
6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him
And saved him out of all his troubles.

Marvin Gaye's album was political and wasn’t meant to make you dance. This was about social issues.
In the power of the cry there is deliverance. David had just had the trial of his life in 1 Sam 21. He was running for a decade. He was anointed but not appointed. The devil is a liar. You will get to where God has for you. Average will be no more. We may be anointed but we are not appointed.

 1 I will bless the LORD at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

When are you going to bless God instead of asking God to bless you? You don’t thank God for the bad things but in the midst of the trial you bless His name.We see David has a resolve to praise. It doesn’t mean he walks around 24/7 saying thank you. He walks in the spirit of praise. When you do this you are prepared for the worse day of your life. It’s your praise that will bring you out.

Romans 8:18

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

Romans 8:18

New Living Translation (NLT)

18 Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.

Are you tolerating drama? God will elevate you.

Psalm 55:17

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

17 Evening and morning and at noon, I will complain and murmur,
And He will hear my voice.

In the midst of your low days we will open our mouth and bless the Lord.

Psalm 34:2

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

2 My soul will make its boast in the LORD;
The humble will hear it and rejoice

Psalm 34:2

New Living Translation (NLT)

 2 I will boast only in the ord;
let all who are helpless take heart.

Whatever happens in his life we he will give God glory.

James 1:17

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

17 Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.

What you have is because of God and what you are about to have is because of God. Your testimony is crucial. If someone can see God doing something for you they will have hope.

Revelation 12:11

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

11 And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even [a]when faced with death.

You have no strength because you haven’t given your testimony.

Matthew 5:16

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

16 Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

We also see a rally for corporate praise in Psalm 34:3.

3 O magnify the LORD with me,
And let us exalt His name together.

No matter what you go through you go to church and bless Him.

Psalm 122:1

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

1 I was glad when they said to me,
“Let us go to the house of the LORD.”

I have to pull myself up and get myself together and get to church. When we move He moves.

We see a rescue from a rough place in Psalm 34:4-5

4 I sought the LORD, and He answered me,
And delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked to Him and were radiant,
And their faces will never be ashamed.

If you have been in a low place God is getting ready to rescue. When you holler God is getting ready to lift you up. If He got Joseph out of the pit He will do it for your. When Judah showed up Joseph was lifted. Judah represents praise.

6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him
And saved him out of all his troubles.

This poor man cried. This demonstrates the real power of a holler. Life will throw road block and hurdles. You may have to pray longer than you want to and walk higher than you wanted to. If you throw your hands up and holler God will deliver you from everything.

Your holler will get you out.

Make Me Wanna Holla Pt 1

Mark 10:46-48

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

46 Then they *came to Jericho. And as He was leaving Jericho with His disciples and a large crowd, a blind beggar named Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the road. 47 When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 48 Many were sternly telling him to be quiet, but he kept crying out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

Inner City Blues (Makes Me Wanna Holler) is a song by Marvin Gaye. It is from his What’s Going On album. The song depicted the ghettos in the inner city. References are made to economic issues and the war. He saw the unjust war, poverty, racism, marginalism, and kids dying. The song was a prophetic platform. We have issues in Memphis, too, that makes us want to holler. If you can tap into the power of the holler you world can change.

Before verse 46 Jesus was dealing with church stuff such as who was going to sit where.

46 Then they *came to Jericho. And as He was leaving Jericho with His disciples and a large crowd, a blind beggar named Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the road.

A man was crying for a touch. Don’t get so caught up in church mess that someone who needs real Jesus ministry is missed. The ministry is nasty and people have issues. We can’t get caught up in our lives that we miss our ministry. The blind man was begging and was in darkness. You may feel this way today. You will leave here seeing because the power of your cry.

Beggars were known to be taken car of by pilgrimagers. The blind man positioned himself for a blessing. Are you in a position to be blessed? You are in position by tithing, praising God, and living right.

47 When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

He heard Jesus. He couldn’t see but he heard. He hollered, the man cried out. You have to maximize your strengths and work on your weaknesses. How long are you going to give excuses? There is something you can do. You can pray for someone, feed someone.

Proverbs 24:16

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

16 For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again,
But the wicked stumble in time of calamity.

You need to work on yourself. The blind man pursued with passion. He didn’t care what others said. Sometimes you can’t be weak. GO in the strength of the Lord.

Matthew 11:12

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

12 From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven [a]suffers violence, and violent men take it by force.

1 Corinthians 2:9

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

9 but just as it is written,
“THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD,
AND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN,
ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.”

What are you going to do for God? The one who picked you put and turned you around? You can’t be passive and think someone will always give you something. You need Jesus and work ethics.

James 2:26

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

26 For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

You can’t be mad at Oprah and P Diddy. You have to put your hand to the plow. After praying and fasting you better fill out a job application, start your business, etc.

“Jesus, son of David have mercy on me!” How did he know Jesus was passing by? Jesus was doing mighty things. Miracles followed him. People started talking. His hype starting building up. His language changed. Get around people whose language has changed. If you are listening to negative things you need change what you are listening to. Don’t let the devil talk you out of your blessings. Thank God for the blood that washed you.

There are some things that make you want to holler. There’s something you are believing God for. The issue was so big he had to come out of his sense realm. We aren’t blessed because we try to figure things out or think we have it all figured out. What took someone 5 years will take you 5 months with the favor of God.

Unemployment is at a high. Most of the intelligent men are in jail. Marriages are destroyed, singles are still fornicating, there are people with good jobs that don’t want to help the church. Things may not change overnight but we can get together collectively.

48 Many were sternly telling him to be quiet, but he kept crying out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

“Be quiet” most peopled yelled. How are they going to tell him to be quiet when he can’t see? He shouted even more. He was persistent in his pursuit. When you begin to holler God will open doors.

Mark 10:49

New Living Translation (NLT)

49 When Jesus heard him, he stopped and said, “Tell him to come here.”
So they called the blind man. “Cheer up,” they said. “Come on, he’s calling you!”

That’s favor despite your situation.

Mark 10:50-51

New Living Translation (NLT)

50 Bartimaeus threw aside his coat, jumped up, and came to Jesus.  51 “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked.
“My rabbi,” the blind man said, “I want to see!”

Sometimes you got to get rid of junk. What do you want and need Jesus to do? Marvin said things make him want to throw his hands up. That is prophetic for giving it up to God. All this mess you are going through makes you want to holler.  You don’t have to wait until the battle is over. You can shout now.

Psalm 22:3

King James Version (KJV)

3But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
Why doesn’t it seem God is not moving? You lost the revelation about the power of the cry. David cried out.

1 Peter 5:7

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

7 casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.

It's All Over You

Genesis 37:23-29

New King James Version (NKJV)

23 So it came to pass, when Joseph had come to his brothers, that they stripped Joseph of his tunic, the tunic of many colors that was on him. 24 Then they took him and cast him into a pit. And the pit was empty; there was no water in it.
25 And they sat down to eat a meal. Then they lifted their eyes and looked, and there was a company of Ishmaelites, coming from Gilead with their camels, bearing spices, balm, and myrrh, on their way to carry them down to Egypt. 26 So Judah said to his brothers, “What profit is there if we kill our brother and conceal his blood? 27 Come and let us sell him to the Ishmaelites, and let not our hand be upon him, for he is our brother and our flesh.” And his brothers listened. 28 Then Midianite traders passed by; so the brothers pulled Joseph up and lifted him out of the pit, and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels of silver. And they took Joseph to Egypt.
29 Then Reuben returned to the pit, and indeed Joseph was not in the pit; and he tore his clothes.

The bible has plenty of drama in it and more than what you see on t.v. Just read your Bible because it is more interesting than t.v. Joseph was chosen by his father to be his favorite child. He was not the 1st born. The 1st born is to receive the inheritance. The blessing that was for someone else will hit your life. Joseph was a type of Christ.  You will see what happened in the New Testament was hidden in the Old Testament.

Joseph had the favor of his father. He didn't do anything but he started dreaming. You had the audacity to start dreaming yourself. He told his brothers that they would bow down to him. Be careful when you think you can trust someone. Not everyone is happy for you. You were best friends until you started dreaming.

The 2nd time he dreamed his parents got involved. His father began to observe. Someone will see how special you are. Someone is seeing if you are holding onto what God has told you. His father gave him a coat of many colors. This was a coat of favor, blessings. Someone is getting ready to put a blessing on you for being at the right place at the right time. Every color on the coat is the stream of blessing from God. Receive anyway God wants to bless you.

The brothers got angry and set up to kill him. Beware of the dream killers.

23 So it came to pass, when Joseph had come to his brothers, that they stripped Joseph of his tunic, the tunic of many colors that was on him.

They stripped him out of his coat. They can take what's on the outside but they can't take what is on the inside.

Psalm 119:11

New King James Version (NKJV)

11 Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You.

You have treasures off limits to the devil. Fill most of your days building up what's on the inside and not the outside.

24 Then they took him and cast him into a pit. And the pit was empty; there was no water in it.
He was put into a pit.

Let's look at Gen 37:21(NKJV):

21 But Reuben heard it, and he delivered him out of their hands, and said, “Let us not kill him.”

Ruben had told him not to kill Joseph but to put him in a pit. Ruben was the 1st born. He was the one who was supposed to get get the coat. He was the one who had the right to be jealous. The one you think is jealous of you is the one that has your back. Discern who is for you. Be careful of those who put you in the pit. They love you privately but won't say anything publicly because there hands are tied for some reason. Look for your pit people.  The pit was empty with no water. The water represents the Word. Beware of people who want to isolate you from the Word. Beware of being  in the pit without water.

When he got into the pit Ruben said to sell him into slavery. This was a blessing. How was that a blessing? Judah showed up. Judah represents praise. When you start praising God you get lifted. When If he didn't get sold into slavery he would have died in the pit. If you praise God you may not get delivered immediately but it keeps you moving.

Genesis 39:1-3

New King James Version (NKJV)

1 Now Joseph had been taken down to Egypt. And Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him from the Ishmaelites who had taken him down there. 2 The LORD was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. 3 And his master saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD made all he did to prosper in his hand.

Joseph was prosperous in Potiphar's place. How many prosperous slaves do you know? He saw that God was with Him and prospered in his hands.

Proverbs 24:16

New King James Version (NKJV)

16 For a righteous man may fall seven times
      And rise again,
But the wicked shall fall by calamity.

You are coming out of this pit. When praises go up blessings come down.

A Reason to Worship

Message was given by Elder Brown.

John 9:1-3

New King James Version (NKJV)

1 Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. 2 And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
3
Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.

John 9:35-38

New King James Version (NKJV)

35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said to him, “Do you believe in the Son of God?”
36 He answered and said, “Who is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him?”
37 And Jesus said to him, “You have both seen Him and it is He who is talking with you.”
38 Then he said, “Lord, I believe!” And he worshiped Him.

2 And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?

A question was asked. Who sinned? Have you every spoken to a person who said they don’t have a reason to worship? That it doesn’t take all that, etc. The bible says to not forsake assembly (Heb 10:25). People may ask, "Why do I need to go to church for?" or  "Why give the preacher my money/", etc. People can give all kinds of reasons why they don’t go to church. You don’t have a problem paying the cover charge to get in, buy drinks, tip the bar tender, pay the stripper, etc.

The Gospel is so precious and we need to watch over the ministry God has given us. We are afraid to testify. We all have problems and there are all types of people in Church. Some of us aren’t proud of our family members, children. We don’t stop paying bills because we have problems. We work through our family problems.

John 9:24

New King James Version (NKJV)

24 So they again called the man who was blind, and said to him, “Give God the glory! We know that this Man is a sinner.”

The wasn’t with men. The issue was in v16.

John 9:16

New King James Version (NKJV)

16 Therefore some of the Pharisees said, “This Man is not from God, because He does not keep the Sabbath.”
Others said, “How can a man who is a sinner do such signs?” And there was a division among them.

They were mad because He was healing on a Sabbath. Who cares that Jesus was healing on the Sabbath? God can, God will. People in the church are resistant to change. The man was born blind. All of a sudden he was able to see. People should have praised God but wondered how Jesus was able to heal. Some Christians are quick to label other people. Stop labeling and talking about other people. Some like to argue over issues, prove a point, over nothing.

The blind man testified. He said he didn’t know who Jesus was. He said that he was blind but he can now see.  He was kicked out. He also told Jesus that He didn’t know who He was.

We all have a reason to praise God.

Psalm 37:35

New King James Version (NKJV)

35 I have seen the wicked in great power,
And spreading himself like a native green tree.

Debt Free

Message was preached at Sunday Night at the Light at LOGIC.

Exodus 12:35-36

New King James Version (NKJV)

35 Now the children of Israel had done according to the word of Moses, and they had asked from the Egyptians articles of silver, articles of gold, and clothing. 36 And the LORD had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they granted them what they requested. Thus they plundered the Egyptians.

There are 6 instances where God transferred wealth from the wicked and gave it to the righteous. Moses asked to borrow from the Egyptians. They represent the world. They borrowed from the world. They had favor.

Exodus 14:22

New King James Version (NKJV)

22 So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.

They were chased. Moses separated the sea and after he did so the enemies drowned. Since they died who were they going to pay back? If who you borrowed from was wiped out then who will you pay back (Not to say God will literally wipe out those you borrowed from).

2 Kings 6:1-7

New King James Version (NKJV)

1 And the sons of the prophets said to Elisha, “See now, the place where we dwell with you is too small for us. 2 Please, let us go to the Jordan, and let every man take a beam from there, and let us make there a place where we may dwell.”
So he answered, “Go.”
3
Then one said, “Please consent to go with your servants.”
And he answered, “I will go.” 4 So he went with them. And when they came to the Jordan, they cut down trees. 5 But as one was cutting down a tree, the iron ax head fell into the water; and he cried out and said, “Alas, master! For it was borrowed.”
6
So the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float. 7 Therefore he said, “Pick it up for yourself.” So he reached out his hand and took it.

They were working and the ax head fell into the water. He cried because he borrowed it and was instantly in debt.

6 So the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float.

Iron doesn’t swim. The debt that he lost was instantly paid off because he listed to the man of God. Why did he get a stick. If it doesn’t meet a need then it is a seed. Little fish and bread was used feed thousands (Mark 14:17-21). God will cancel your debt.

2 Kings 4:1-7

New King James Version (NKJV)

1 A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the LORD. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.”
2
So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.”
3
Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few. 4 And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.”
5
So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. 6 Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.”
And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased. 7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.”

Some of you have debt that is inherited. The husband left her in debt. She was asked what was in her possession. She was asked to borrow. Every now and then you have to get crazy.

Deuteronomy 15:1-2

New King James Version (NKJV)

1 “At the end of every seven years you shall grant a release of debts. 2 And this is the form of the release: Every creditor who has lent anything to his neighbor shall release it; he shall not require it of his neighbor or his brother, because it is called the LORD’s release.

Every debt incurred from the last 7 years is the night of the Lord’s release. Blessings are getting ready to overtake you.

Proverbs 10:22

New King James Version (NKJV)

22 The blessing of the LORD makes one rich,
And He adds no sorrow with it.

When the devil does something crazy we have to do something crazy. We are going to the enemy’s camp to take back what was stolen.

Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord (Exodus 14:13, 2 Chronicles 20:17).

Patience

Patience 11/06/2011

Romans 5:3-5

New King James Version (NKJV)

3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

We live in a microwave society. In this day and time in church we need patience.

Hebrews 10:38

New King James Version (NKJV)

38 Now the just shall live by faith;
      But if anyone draws back,
My soul has no pleasure in him.”

You have to hold on a little while longer because there are some things in life you have to work out.

Romans 15:4

New King James Version (NKJV)

4 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.

The worst thing you can do is give up when God has already showed you something.  You have to praise God through the Hell. God is not going to do it on your time but His time.

Patience is going through something without complaining. Be patient on your prophecy. Your character will keep you. You have to live by faith. Please believe God is working for your good and the devil is working against you.

If you  have patience God will work it out.

James 1:3-4

New King James Version (NKJV)

3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

You will appreciate it more if you have to go through the process. Just let patience build and you can be the best you.

Isaiah 40:31

New King James Version (NKJV)

31 But those who wait on the LORD
      Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

Waiting - patiently waiting and serving until God releases you. You are going  to be renewed in strength. Pass this one last test. Eagles fly by themselves. Blue jays/ducks fly with each other. You are going to have to walk alone sometimes. It’s not hear yet but it is on the way. One word from God can change things.

Psalm 37:8-9

New King James Version (NKJV)

 8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath;
Do not fret—it only causes harm.

 9 For evildoers shall be cut off;
But those who wait on the LORD,
         They shall inherit the earth.

Psalm 40:1

New King James Version (NKJV)

1 I waited patiently for the LORD;
         And He inclined to me,
         And heard my cry.

When you know what God is going to do you don’t have to be anxious.

Proverbs 23:7

New King James Version (NKJV)

7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.

“ Eat and drink!” he says to you,
But his heart is not with you.

Speak life every chance you get. Let patience have a perfect work in Jesus’ name.

11-1-11

Deuteronomy 1:3-8

New King James Version (NKJV)

Deuteronomy 1:3-8

New King James Version (NKJV)

3 Now it came to pass in the fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the first day of the month, that Moses spoke to the children of Israel according to all that the LORD had given him as commandments to them, 4 after he had killed Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and Og king of Bashan, who dwelt at Ashtaroth in Edrei.
5 On this side of the Jordan in the land of Moab, Moses began to explain this law, saying, 6 “The LORD our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying: ‘You have dwelt long enough at this mountain. 7 Turn and take your journey, and go to the mountains of the Amorites, to all the neighboring places in the plain, in the mountains and in the lowland, in the South and on the seacoast, to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the River Euphrates. 8 See, I have set the land before you; go in and possess the land which the LORD swore to your fathers—to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—to give to them and their descendants after them.’

Attention to verse 6:

6 “The LORD our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying: ‘You have dwelt long enough at this mountain.

You are coming out.

It is 1/1/11. There’s something great about today. It happens once every 100 years. What God did in the spirit today won’t be done for another 100 years. Today is a millennium day. He has turned every unturned stone, weight, mountain, sin that easily besets you. What’s going to happen hasn’t been seen in 100 years.

Remember they said they are going in the strength of the Lord. You are going to the next level because you passed your 2 biggest test. It happened after they worshipped the golden calf.

Deuteronomy 8:18

New King James Version (NKJV)

18 “And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

We are on the verge of the biggest blessing but we are turning our backs on God. God wants the glory. He had mercy and wanted them to get to the promised land. You may have let God down but he is saying He still wants to bless you.

2 Corinthians 12:9

New King James Version (NKJV)

9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Deut 1:6

6 “The LORD our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying: ‘You have dwelt long enough at this mountain.

You’ve been ________ too long. You can’t go nowhere but up. People start trying to bring up your past. but they have amnesia. We all need to get ourselves together.

Deut 1:7

7 Turn and take your journey, and go to the mountains of the Amorites, to all the neighboring places in the plain, in the mountains and in the lowland, in the South and on the seacoast, to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the River Euphrates..

Repent means to turn away. You may have to walk a long time. Whenever you think your blessing is just go. Go where you have to go.

Deut 1:8

8 See, I have set the land before you; go in and possess the land which the LORD swore to your fathers—to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—to give to them and their descendants after them.’

You have to go in and possess the land. Thank God what he did for you years ago because of a praying grandmother.

He’ll give you double for your trouble. You’ll never have another day like today. You have a blessing waiting on you.
