Arise and Shine

Isaiah 60:1-3

1 Arise, shine;
      For your light has come!
      And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.
       2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
      And deep darkness the people;
      But the LORD will arise over you,
      And His glory will be seen upon you.
       3 The Gentiles shall come to your light,
      And kings to the brightness of your rising

At LOGIC the idea is to Velcro the people to each other, vision and the Word. iLove my church is about people coming together. People who are about Arise and Shine aren't lazy but get out and do something. They think about what can be done to bring people to Jesus.

The 1st thing that should be done after the Holy Ghost is received is to witness to others. There should be something different about you and Christ should shine out of you. You have to make a decision to represent Jesus. Learn to let God fight your battles. Be silent and let God work it out.

God is Glory Himself walking with you. When praises goes up God comes down. When you replace your complaint with your praise God will come quicker. Watch the murmurs and competition spirit.

 2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
      And deep darkness the people;
      But the LORD will arise over you,
      And His glory will be seen upon you.

We are in the dark days. God has to have a people who will shine when it's dark. As dark as it gets there will be a light on you.

God is a God of participatory miracles. We have to participate, go out and do something. God helps those who help themselves. Stop treating God like He is a slot machine. He will bless the works of your hands. People will see God is with you. You have to be humble when God blesses you because low is the way. The same thing you were doing to get the blessing you will have to do the same thing to keep it.

  3 The Gentiles shall come to your light,
      And kings to the brightness of your rising
.

The Gentiles = world. Every sinner should want to be in tune with our Jesus because God is so much in tune with us. It should be so bright that we attract flies (demons) but the Light will zap them. You are losing demonic battles because you are not sitting still to see the glory of the Lord and you are not standing in faith but worrying. God wants us to have unshakable, unmovable faith. The same God that got you out the last time will get you out this time. This situation may be worse but stand still and watch God work it out.

Don't think that God is picking on you. He has bigger plans and his ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:8). God is not a feeling. He is there whether you feel Him or not. You have to have the Word in you to sustain you. Remember when you were in school and had to take a test? When you raised your hand your teacher told you, "It's test time" and did not talk to you. God is like that with us. When it's test time God expects us to have everything we need to pass with the tools He has already given us during preparation time. If you fail you have to take the test again.

It may be your time but you have to wait for your turn. For example you may have a doctor's appointment at 10:15 and your time has come but you still have to wait your turn to see the doctor. Hold on and wait for your turn.

Other people should see that God is so on you that you are the person to go to when they need a prayer to go through, when they need something to be decreed and declared by you and it happens. We also have to be the vessel that God uses to heal. You don't have to be in the pulpit to preach.

Acts 19:11 -12

11 Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, 12 so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them.

Matt 5:16

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

We have to share what we know otherwise what we do is in vain. Church is beyond the 4 walls. The fish doesn't jump in the boat. You have to catch it.
