Arise and Live

This message was preached by Prophetess LaTrice Ryan

Ezekiel 37:1-5

1 The hand of the LORD came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. 2 Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. 3 And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
So I answered, “O Lord GOD, You know.”
4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! 5 Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.

God asked Ezekiel a question. When He asks questions it's not for insight. He is omnipotent. Nothing catches God by surprise. He is testing the Word He has placed inside of you. Do you believe what you have been believing him for. When situations come you should be able to prophesy to it. God will tell you that you will live even though the doctors said that you will die. Your family is acting up but God says they will be delivered.

Psalm 7:9

9 Oh, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end,
         But establish the just;
For the righteous God tests the hearts and minds
.

The test won't take you out. God is setting you up for the greatest promotion of your life. You are coming out better stronger, bigger.

John 5:1-15

1 After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches. 3 In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. 4 For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had. 5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”
7 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”
8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” 9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.
And that day was the Sabbath. 10 The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, “It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.”
11 He answered them, “He who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your bed and walk.’”
12 Then they asked him, “Who is the Man who said to you, ‘Take up your bed and walk’?” 13 But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. 14 Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”
15 The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well
.

The man was at the pool for years. Jesus asked him a question. He had to wait on others to put him in the pool. You should get tired of of waiting on people. God will supply your needs (Phil 4:19). Knowing his condition Jesus asked a question. He watched others get into the pool and saw others get healed. The man was looking for his miracle and the method but didn't realize he was talking to the Man. When Jesus comes you don't need the method. If you stop going after the method but after the Man watch God bless you.

Back to Ezekiel. He was in a valley which is a low place, between two mountains, two high points. You can't see in the valley. It's cold, scary, you hear sounds you've never heard before. God speaks to you in the valley. You think it's crazy. When you are in the midst of the valley you are at rock bottom. But there is a Rock called Jesus. In the low place you learn to pray. In the valley you hear Him. He gets your attention. You can only look up in the valley.

Ezekiel saw bones in the valley. Bones equal no growth, vegetation, no life, not moving, can't get a prayer moved, death. There's no oil. You pray, pray, and pray. You jump, shout and still nothing. God asks Ezekiel, "Can the bones live?". God gives him an assignment in the valley. He will also give you an assignment in the midst of impossibility.

Mark :522-43

22 And behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue came, Jairus by name. And when he saw Him, he fell at His feet 23 and begged Him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter lies at the point of death. Come and lay Your hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live.” 24 So Jesus went with him, and a great multitude followed Him and thronged Him.
25 Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, 26 and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. 27 When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. 28 For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”
29 Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. 30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?”
31 But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’”
32 And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. 33 But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. 34 And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”
35 While He was still speaking, some came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house who said, “Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?”
36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe.” 37 And He permitted no one to follow Him except Peter, James, and John the brother of James. 38 Then He came to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and saw a tumult and those who wept and wailed loudly. 39 When He came in, He said to them, “Why make this commotion and weep? The child is not dead, but sleeping.”
40 And they ridiculed Him. But when He had put them all outside, He took the father and the mother of the child, and those who were with Him, and entered where the child was lying. 41 Then He took the child by the hand, and said to her, “Talitha, cumi,” which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.” 42 Immediately the girl arose and walked, for she was twelve years of age. And they were overcome with great amazement. 43 But He commanded them strictly that no one should know it, and said that something should be given her to eat.

Do you understand the power in your mouth? We are made in His image (Gen 9:6). If God has the power to speak to the waters, stars, what makes you think you will die and not make it? What makes you think God has finished blessing you? You still have a blessing with your name on it.

Numbers 23:19

19 “God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

If God said it He will do it. God raised the girl from the dead. Get up and arise from depression, sickness, debt, struggles. You have a work to do. Get up and pray, get up and praise, get up and shout! Prophesy to yourself!
